Located in Lincoln, NE
Established 1981 when members split-off from the
Lincoln Bass Club in order to be able to fish
some of the smaller lakes in the area."Our club typically
fishes 8-10 tournament days each year. Usually
there are two or three 2-day away tournaments
(over 75 miles from Lincoln) and the remaining
tournaments are 1-day local tournaments (less
than 75 miles from Lincoln). We have paper
tournaments; not actual weigh-ins as we strongly
believe in conservation of the fishing resource.
We pay out $20 for the biggest bass of each
tournament and keep track of the six best
tournament finishes for each member in order to
determine who wins the Angler of the Year Plaque.
Our dues each year are approximately $75 which
also goes to pay out the $20 for big bass each
tournament. Our club has many good fishermen in
it, but we emphasize the camaraderie, not the
competition. Everyone is willing to share how and
where thay caught fish after the tournament. We
often stop and eat dinner together on the way
home after tournaments. We travel using the buddy
system, whenever possible, and share all expenses
with the boater/driver. We have several members
that are retired, but also have younger members
that range down to college-age. We are always
looking for potential members that would like to
actively participate in a bass club. It is not
necessary that you own your own boat, but boat
owners are also welcome."

We currently have
13 members, with 11 of them owning their own
boats. We are looking for new members at this
time, especially more non-boaters. Please contact
us for more information about our club.

We meet the 4th
Wednesday of each month at the Lincoln Elks Club
at 7:30. We conduct an informal business meeting,
then hang around for an hour or so visiting.
